As one of the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah has particular concern on education. Since its establishment, Muhammadiyah is consistent in developing schools, universities, and research centers. Currently, Muhammadiyah has 165 universities spread all over Indonesia with various faculties and majors. Furthermore, Muhammadiyah facilitates both cadre and Indonesian citizens in general to have an equal access to education. At this moment, Muhammadiyah opens opportunities for global enthusiasts to join in Muhammadiyah-based education system.
Muhammadiyah is actively supporting students, teachers, lecturers, teaching staffs and citizens with various backgrounds to continue their study with scholarship from various providers. Muhammadiyah aims to cover more students with diverse identity backgrounds to get the opportunity and experience the education system in Indonesia.
At the moment, Muhammadiyah is offering a scholarship for Palestinian students to continue their studies for Master’s program at Muhammadiyah universities in Indonesia. In addition, Muhammadiyah also offers scholarship for Short Course programs to Palestinians who are interested in gaining more knowledge about specific studies or even Islam and Muslims in Indonesia. Muhammadiyah Scholarship covers full cost of tuition and living expenses.
